Dear Family & Friends, This is our family’s version of a Christmas letter It’s what works for our family – not that it’s better…. Another year has come and passed, Many more stories which we have amassed. Space does limit the ability to tell, But we will attempt, while rhyming as well. Nothing too serious we can assure, To share a laugh, is what we aim for. We started our year up North at Jean’s parents 50th anniversary party. It would have been a lot more fun if we’d all been hale & hearty. However, the virus we took left behind us a trail. Of people we infected who then became frail. Everyone was gracious – and though no one would say so. We really don’t think anyone was sad to see us go. He hates to admit; He still doesn’t know what to say, When people ask Bruce how he earns his living, at home each day. But business is good; we’ll leave it at that, And he gets to stay home with Nick and the cat. Jean is still working at the Church, what fun, Being Secretary of the Children’s Ministry keeps her on the run. (To organize children, you must think like one!) Nick is enjoying his days home with Dad, Almost 5 years old, lot’s of fun to be had. He loves video games, secrets, jokes, invisible things, Anything with wheels, and when Mommy sings. A.J.’s eleven and reads everything it seems, Runs in the “Jeans”, if you know what I mean. He’s doing well in school, even won some awards, When I try to impress him with my knowledge, he now appears bored. Art is Zach’s thing, his canvas? He doesn’t care. Computer screens, paper, skin, clothes – even his hair! We had an addition to our family from June to nearly September. It was great fun to have Melody Peckman be our 6th family member. Read between the lines, you’ll be able to tell, Despite ups and downs, our family’s doing well. We better end here, though we haven’t told half, Hopefully at least once, you’ve thrown your head back to laugh. These jokes are on us, we’ll gladly take a turn, Now what’s been going on with your family, this year what have you learned? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Bruce, Jean, Zach, A.J. & Nick |
